Going Hunting

I live in Halifax, which happens to be where (mostly) European cars come to port for the eastern half of Canada. There's thousands of them. I can't get behind that fence, but I'm planning on bringing my camera next time I go to snap a few photos.

Anything you'd like to see? Let me know*, even if it's a specific colour combination. I find it makes a big difference seeing new cars in the flesh. The Mini 5-Door, it turns out, is actually mini. Ignore your dimensions info, it looks barely longer than the regular Mini. I actually love the look of it, and I was a non-believer before.

To name a few cars I'd seen there this past weekend:

- BMW i8

- Jaguar F-Type R Coupe (There's usually a few Astons as well, but I didn't notice any last weekend).

- Volkswagen Jetta Mk7 (or is it 6.5? Whatever. The new one that's about to hit dealers).

- BMW 4-series Gran Coupe

- BMW 228i, non M-Sport trim (first time I'd seen one)

- Every Volvo built ever (there was even a new (first-gen) XC90 there)

* No Audis, since all of their cars are completely wrapped in plastic. Thought they looked the same before? Try completely covering them in white wraps then tell me an A3 from an A4.

I am proud to say that I was already on Youtube when that video, and Powerthirst, first hit the web. It is indeed a classic.
